Learning to Drive and Lasagne is a concept and method that embraces learning with the aim of better understanding. Once we understand something, we never forget it and that’s the difference. For those of you that have completed your theory tests, how much of it can you remember? Be honest now, there’s no judgement here. For the most part, we tend to memorise this type of thing so we can pass the test and once it’s done it disappears from our memories so quickly that it’s a dot in the rear view mirror the second we walk out of the test centre clutching that theory test pass certificate. 

For those of you that haven’t met me, I have a bit of a different style when it comes to teaching driving. A little “outside the box” shall we say. This style led to the idea of “Learning to Drive and Lasagne” which is an ethos where we build skills up in layers, assemble them and then bulletproof them in a (not literal) oven.
